Jessica Pixler talks about transitioning to Colorado...

Courtesy of media partner Flotrack, here's an interview with University of Colorado senior Jessica Pixler (left/file photo by Paul Merca), who graduated last June from Seattle Pacific University having won twelve NCAA Division II titles in cross country, indoor, and outdoor track.

Pixler, a graduate student at CU, talks about making the move from Seattle, where the majority of her friends and family are, to Boulder.

She had thoughts after graduation of running professionally in 2011, but felt that with the one season of outdoor track eligibility remaining (she missed the 2008 outdoor season with an injury, and wasn't able to compete at the Olympic Trials), that running in Division I would help ease the transition from Division II to the next level.
