Israel spun the platter 205-5 (62.62m), over two meters further than Friday's toss of 197-11 (60.33m), but it wasn't enough to overcome the winning toss of Cuba's Jorge Fernandez, who threw 209-4 (63.81m) for the victory.

Washington State alum Ian Waltz finished seventh in Madrid with a throw of 196-11 (60.02m).
