Meanwhile, the University of Washington announced its 2012 cross country schedule, highlighted by two trips to the Midwest in late September and early October.

On September 29th, the Washington women, who finished second at last year's NCAA cross country championships, travel to Louisville's E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park for the Greater Louisville Classic on the same course that will host the NCAA championships on November 17th.

That same day, the men's squad will compete in Eugene at the Bill Dellinger Invitational, hosted by the University of Oregon.

Two weeks later, both Husky squads travel to Madison, Wisconsin for the adidas Wisconsin Invitational, a meet the Husky women won last year.

Washington hosts two home meets this season--the Sundodger Invitational on September 15th at Lincoln Park, and the NCAA West Regionals on Friday November 9th at Jefferson Park Golf Course on Beacon Hill.

The UW schedule is available here.
